Q: Do I have to use the resources in the order presented? My scheme of work has a different order.
A: No, of course not! It is entirely up to you as to the order in which you use the resources. However, the resources have been ordered according to a research study, so you may want to think about trialling the order presented.
Q: Do I have to use all the slides, or can I just take the GeoGebra applets out and use them?
A: This is fine. Each ‘page’ in a GeoGebra book has a different link, so navigate to the applet, then copy the link, and use as you see fit.
Q: The specification I teach uses a slightly different definition for increasing and decreasing functions. Does this matter?
A: This is a really interesting question, which has been raised by nearly every teacher who has looked at the materials! In the end, I asked a mathematics lecturer for help, and this was the definition suggested.
